Every year, people like you are elected and appointed to direct conservation programs in your community. Washington State's 47 conservation districts conduct local elections to fill positions as conservation district board members. The Washington State Conservation Commission also appoints some conservation district board members.
We invite you to find out more about your local conservation district's program and the people who bring conservation to life in your neighborhood. Whether you are interested in being a candidate, or are looking for information on how elections are conducted, or are simply interested in voting, your conservation district would like to hear from you.
What are conservation district supervisors?
Conservation district board members are called supervisors. A conservation district supervisor serves three years as part of a team of five supervisors who direct the plans and programs of your conservation district. Three of your five conservation district
