Washington State Conservation Commission

The Washington State Department of Ecology has revised the list of pre-applications it received for the Columbia River Basin Water management Program.

Ecology has also updated its grants web site for the Program to make the grant process a little clearer, and they provide a nice timeline to make the process easier to follow.

Ecology expects that proponents of grant pre-applications will be contacted beginning next week for site visits.

In-person site visits will be conducted by two-person teams from Ecology, and Conservation Commission staff may also attend.  Those visits are expected to continue into early February.
