The Washington State Conservation Commission has hired Ron Shultz as a Special Assistant to the Executive Director. He will begin the new position November 1, 2007 at offices in Lacey, Washington.  Mr. Shultz's immediate activities will be the Commission lead on the Puget Sound Partnership. In addition, he will support the Office of Farmland Preservation as well as the agency lead in wetland mitigation issues.
