Information: Commissioner Lee Faulconer serves on the Commission as an ex officio member representing Dan Newhouse, Director of the Washington State Department of Agriculture. He has served on the Commission for over 12 years. Lee grew up in Yakima, but now resides in Olympia. He earned a B.A. in Botany and an M.S. in Biology at Central Washington State College (now CWU). He began working at the Department of Agriculture in 1983 as a pesticide investigator in Yakima. Since 1996, his current position is Policy Assistant to the Director.
