$4.5 Million to Conservation Districts for Salmon Recovery

Washington State conservation districts received funding awards totaling $4.5 million to help restore dwindling runs of salmon. These results-oriented projects are part of a $60 million salmon restoration program announced
by the Salmon Recovery Funding Board.
Fourteen conservation districts received awards totaling $4,745,409. Several other conservation districts assist other grant recipients in the implementation of Salmon Recovery Funding Board projects.
