Information about the importance of soil and how to conserve it is, of course, just as important today, and there are exciting opportunities concerning soil education on the horizon for Washington’s conservation districts.

2008_annual_report_cover.jpgThe Washington State Conservation Commission is pleased to present its 2008 annual report, “Promises Made, Promises Kept.” The report highlights outstanding accomplishments of all 47 conservation districts as well as final reports for each state grant administered by the Conservation Commission, covering the period from July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008. Find out about the most recent conservation projects across the state and the good work accomplished by private landowners, assisted by conservation districts and our many partner organizations.
