Whidbey Island Conservation District Appoints New Manager

COUPEVILLE, Washington — Whidbey Island Conservation District is pleased to announce the appointment of Karen Bishop as the new District Manager. Karen will begin her duties on June 1. She replaces Karen Lennon who was instrumental in directing district programs, developing new personnel and programs, and locating new funding sources for the district.

The Washington State Conservation Commission meets every two months.  Our meetings rotate around the great state of Washington.  See our meeting schedule, or contact us for more information.

Conservation Districts

Conservation districts meet regularly, but schedules can change.  If you wish to attend a meeting of a conservation district board, you should contact the conservation district to confirm the date, time, and location.  See the monthly conservation district meeting schedule to get started.

 

Watershed Data Pilot Project Update

The Watershed Data Pilot Project (WDPP) will pilot use of a single repository for habitat projects performed by the state's Conservation Districts, and habitat data obtained from state and local natural resource agencies.
