The Watershed Data Pilot Project (WDPP) will pilot use of a single repository for habitat projects performed by the state's Conservation Districts, and habitat data obtained from state and local natural resource agencies.
This pilot will demonstrate the effectiveness of a commercial vendor's product to bring together useful data on project and habitat data to support conservation districts in their work, and provide better information on the habitat restoration activities in a watershed.
This project began in late 2005, developed requirements, conducted an Request for Proposals, selected ENKON Information Systems to provide a system and hosting, and is actively implementing the pilot project.
