Information: Commissioner Longrie has lived in Clark County Washington for the last 32 years. For the last 25 years he has operated a part time landscape business. He is retired from the US Forest Service, has served as the Forest Wildlife Biologist on the Mt. Hood National Forest as well as the Regional Botanist in the Pacific NW Region. He earned a BS in Botany at the University of Wisconsin and an MS & Ph.D. in Wildlife Ecology at Michigan State University. Dean has served on the Board of Supervisors for the Clark Conservation District for over 10 years and as Chair for the last 7. He is currently in his second year as President of the Washington Association of Conservation Districts. He also serves on the board of directors of the Washington Native Plant society for about 8 years and currently serves as their President.
