Commissioner Fred Colvin is the elected western Washington representative serving on the Commission. He is the immediate past president of the Washington Association of Conservation Districts (WACD). He has served as an elected supervisor on the Thurston Conservation District over 14 years and is currently the Secretary/Treasurer on the District Board.
Fred resides in Tenino and operates a 500-acre family cattle farm. He is involved in the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) and serves as an alternate Board Member with NACD.
Fred graduated from the Washington Ag Forestry Leadership Program. Fred is also involved with the Thurston County Ag Advisory Committee, Farming and the Environment, and the Cattlemen's Assocation. |
