The Washington Association of Conservation Districts:

  • provides District supervisors, staff, and partners with timely information, education, and leadership;
  • represents Districts at state, regional, and national levels;
  • serves as one of the links between Districts and their state and federal partners and other organizations;
  • facilitates the resolution of natural resource-related problems;
  • serves as a communication link between Districts.

Announcements

The EPA has posted a Request for Proposals for financial assistance under our West Coast Estuaries Initiative.  We have approximately $2.8 million to award to coastal communities in Oregon, Washington and Alaska.  Conservation Districts in Washington's coastal zone are eligible applicants for this assistance program. We expect to make several awards ranging from $400,000 to $600,000.
