Apply by June 1: RPPP Limited Grant Opportunity for Holding Site Maintenance

Limited Request for Applications now open for conservation districts

A limited Request for Applications is now open to conservation districts that have previously received funding for holding sites. Funding is available to support maintenance and continued care of existing RPPP plants.

  • Eligible uses: Maintenance of existing sites
  • Available funding: Up to $50,000 per district
  • Apply here
  • The application deadline is Monday June 1, 2026 at 5:00 P.M.

Reminder

  • If your district does not need funding by July 1, you are encouraged to apply for the full application, which will be released mid-July and will include purchasing trees and/or shrubs and the expansion or creation of holding sites.
  • Please review the funding guidelines.

Reporting

All conservation districts must report the distribution of plants funded through this program to riparian restoration projects:

All deliverables must be received and all installation work completed by June 30, 2027.
