Allan has worked in conservation in Washington since 2015 and joined the SCC in August of 2026. He previously served as the Communications and Development Director of Pierce Conservation District before joining the Bonneville Environmental Foundation as a Senior Program Manager. Allan's work has supported farmland conservation, green stormwater infrastructure, salmon habitat restoration, and development of market-based mechanisms to leverage WA state investments in conservation. Growing up in Alaska and working as a wilderness guide for more than a decade imbued Allan with a deep connection and care for natural systems. Allan lives with his wife and two children in Enumclaw where he enjoys skiing, gardening, and woodworking in his free time.
