Conservation District Resources

The legislature awarded SCC an additional $1.25M of CCA funds for the Forest Health & Community Wildfire Resilience Program (FHCWR) for fiscal year ‘27.  This additional funding is much appreciated and needed to support the continuation of this program across the state; however, there is not enough to cover the current funding gap between what was requested in the first round of applications and what was awarded. 

SCC has developed two options for allocating these additional funds with the intention of making this application round a fair opportunity. We need conservation district input to determine which option best meets your needs. We held a meeting to gather your input before finalizing the funding allocation process.
