What is SecureAccess Washington (SAW)?

SecureAccess Washington (SAW) provides self-administered single sign-on access to multiple agency applications, shields online services from harmful activity, and allows access only to known users. Accounts can access online services from state agencies with one username and password.

Why

Secure sign-in is required under Washington State Department of Information Services (WaTech) policy for all state-owned or operated applications. CPDS falls under these requirements. As part of SCC’s annual reporting to WaTech, we ensure compliance and security of state-managed software systems. During this process, a gap was identified, and the CPDS software has since been updated to integrate with SecureAccess Washington (SAW) for Single Sign-On (SSO) access.
