A SecureAccess Washington (SAW) account is required to access the Conservation Practice Database System (CPDS).
Find out more about how to set up a SAW account below.
SecureAccess Washington (SAW) provides self-administered single sign-on access to multiple agency applications, shields online services from harmful activity, and allows access only to known users. Accounts can access online services from state agencies with one username and password.
Secure sign in is required by Washington State's Department of Information Services (WaTech) policy for state-owned or operated apps. CPDS is a software included under these requirements. SCC has annual reporting requirements to WaTech to ensure security of state operated software systems. We identified a gap in our compliance with WaTech requirements during annual reporting and have worked to update the software to integrate with SAW or Single Sign-on (SSO).
