
Margaret earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota and Master of Public Administration from the University of Washington, both with a focus on environmental policy and management. She spent several years with the Washington Departments of Fish and Wildlife and Natural Resources managing the Puget Sound Marine and Nearshore Grant Program, which funded restoration, protection, and stewardship projects that advanced the Puget Sound Action Agenda. She also worked for Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, in collaboration with Conservation Districts and other partners, on reach-scale river restoration projects in the Chehalis River Basin. Currently, she is pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Environmental Policy and International Development from Harvard Extension School. In her free time, Margaret enjoys traveling with her family and exploring new landscapes and cultures.
