CD Biennial Report Pages are Due September 24

It's time to share your CD's key accomplishments from the July 1, 2019-June 30, 2021 timeframe in the CD/SCC Biennial Report!

Please mark your calendars - report content is due September 24, 2021. Read this announcement (sent via GovDelivery, 8/4) to learn what your CD needs to do to meet this CAPP requirement.

CD funding opportunities announced: Livestock TA and Fire Recovery

On July 7, 2021, the Washington State Conservation Commission (SCC) announced two new funding opportunities for Washington conservation districts (via GovDelivery). Click on the announcements below to learn more:

Informational materials about each funding request submitted to the state to fund CD/SCC work for the 2021-23 biennium are available now for CD use. These materials include key talking points, metrics, and photos to explain each request.

Fact sheets available on SCC/CD state budget request

The Washington State Conservation Commission(SCC) has submitted state budget requests to support conservation districts and voluntary conservation work over the next biennium. 

Here are two fact sheets with overviews of what we requested from the Capital and Operating budgets. We hope this helps give a clear picture of what was requested and some general talking points about what each individual request will do and what's at risk if they're not funded.
