Tami joined the Washington State Conservation Commission in August 2025.  She comes to the Commission after working as the Director of Growth & Sustainability at USA Pulses since 2023, and prior to that, worked as a Conservation Coordinator at Palouse Conservation District for over seven years. Tami brings a passion for conservation agriculture and soil health to the position, as well as a strong interest in preserving farmland and helping multi generational farms and ranches remain viable.

She holds a B.S. in Agronomy and an M.S. in Soil Science, both from Washington State University. She is a fifth generation farmer, and a native of eastern Washington.  When Tami is not at work, she enjoys gardening, running, hiking, and spending time with family on the farm in western Whitman County.

Tami serves the following conservation districts: Asotin, Columbia, Palouse, Pine Creek, Pomeroy, Rock Lake, Walla Walla, Franklin, Benton, and Whitman.
