The mission of Rock Lake Conservation District is to assist cooperators in maximizing sustainable productivity, increasing their income while conserving and enhancing natural resources (soil, water, air, plants, animals and humans) for now and future generations by making available federal, state, county, city, and private programs, by providing resources, technical and scientific information, and educational opportunities.
Meets the second Wednesday of each month, at 7:00 p.m. in the district office.
Rock Lake Conservation District worked with a local landowner to install rock toe protection along a half-mile stretch of the Palouse River, successfully preventing erosion and improving water flow after a flooding event.
