About the Resource Library
The Office of Farmland Preservation (OFP) hosts the Farmland Preservation Roundtable, which is a forum for farmland preservation practitioners across the state, including land trusts, CDs, local government, and other state agencies. The focus of the Roundtable has been on providing space for shared learning, addressing challenges in farmland preservation programs and goals, and developing innovative solutions to accelerate the pace of farmland preservation in the state.
OFP has been repeatedly asked how we could provide an improved clearinghouse for sharing information between Roundtable members, and to access lists of service providers who specialize in or have demonstrated experience with farmland preservation work, such as appraisers, surveyors, attorneys, and financial advisors. The resource library provides the clearinghouse space for sharing information and is populated voluntarily by the Roundtable members. The library includes specific information for each service provider listed, including contact and service information. Inclusion in the library is voluntary. All information is provided by the Roundtable members themselves.
