Important Notice: Climate Commitment Act (CCA) Funding

RPPP has recently received additional funding associated with the Climate Commitment Act (RCW 70A.65), a market-based program to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the next few decades.

A portion of the revenues are directed into the Natural Climate Solutions Account and were distributed into several standing grant programs, including this program. As a result, a portion of this program's funding comes with additional reporting, assessment, and tribal consultation requirements.

Applicants are required to complete all CCA-related pre-application steps. If your project is selected for CCA funding, you will be notified during the award process.

In accordance with RCW 70A.65.305, any SCC grant funded through the CCA requires applicants to notify all affected federally recognized Tribes within the project area. This notification must occur as early as possible, before any funding is approved.

Instructions, resources, and a letter template can be found at scc.wa.gov/cd/cca.
