The Washington State Conservation Commission (SCC) and conservation districts (CDs) are critical participants in the “all lands, all hands” approach to land management identified in the Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Wildland Fire Protection 10-Year Strategic Plan and 20-year Forest Health Strategic Plan. DNR and CDs work together to provide landowners with the best possible resources and options for implementing resiliency solutions.
