The Washington State Conservation Commission (SCC) has adopted a temporary Interpretive Statement 20-01 describing the process of the district representative to the Commission to accommodate for the Washington Association of Conservation Districts (WACD) annual meeting being held in a hybrid style with in-person meetings with options to participate online.
For 2022, there will be one district-elected position on the Conservation Commission up for election this year - the western Washington district representative.
Consistent with the temporary SCC Interpretive Statement 20-01, and due to the uncertainty of in-person participation, the following process will be used for the 2022 election of the elected members of the Conservation Commission.
