Information and Process on How to Apply for the Central Elected Commission Member Position

The Washington State Conservation Commission (WSCC) has adopted a temporary Interpretive Statement 20-01 describing the process of the district representative to the Commission to accommodate for the Washington Association of Conservation Districts (WACD) annual meeting being held in a hybrid style with in-person meetings as well as options to participate online.

For 2023, there will be one district-elected position on the Conservation Commission up for election this year - the central Washington district representative.

Consistent with the temporary WSCC Interpretive Statement 20-01, and due to the uncertainty of in-person participation, the following process will be used for the 2023 election of the elected members of the Conservation Commission.
