To our partners and stakeholders,

It is with great sadness I share with you today the passing of our colleague Ron Shultz.

As many may know, Ron faced many health challenges over the last few years, yet this never stopped his tireless efforts in supporting and advocating for voluntary conservation.

His legacy of working with districts, partners, and legislators to educate and secure funding for conversation projects across our state will endure for years to come.

Ron’s commitment to his work, good humor, and helpfulness have touched each of us in many ways. His passing will leave an immense void, not only in our hearts but also in the work we do to support conservation.

During this time of loss, let us reflect on Ron’s dedication to make the world a better place. May our thoughts now be with his family.

Kirk
