The SCC science hub is exploring the use of community-based social marketing or similar approaches (focus groups, directed outreach activities) to assess bridges and barriers to the adoption of conservation practices on private lands. The science hub anticipates using this information in the future to help develop outreach and engagement strategies for specific natural resource concerns within selected watersheds in the state, in collaboration with the local conservation district(s).
If you have participated in, or are aware of, Community-Based Social Marketing projects in the conservation context please share your experience here or by emailing Karen Hills.
