WSDA Climate Resilience Survey

WSDA Climate Resilience Survey

Please fill out the survey by Feb. 23.

WA State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) is pleased to announce the WSDA Climate Resilience Survey and hopes you will help us broadly distribute the below link. WSDA, in collaboration with Washington State University, is developing a Climate Resilience Plan for Washington agriculture. The plan will summarize recent climate science, identify vulnerabilities, highlight opportunities, and include newly developed resources. It is essential that this work is informed by the needs and experiences of Washington producers and agricultural advisors.

WSDA Climate Resilience Survey

Your responses will increase our understanding of the on-farm impacts of climate change, resources in use, and current agricultural needs. This information will help us build programs and offer funding that is in direct response to your feedback. Ultimately, WSDA’s goal is to support the continued viability and vitality of Washington agriculture through a changing climate.

More information can be found in the attached cover letter from Derek Sandison, WSDA’s Director of Agriculture. Thanks in advance, and we look forward to working with you on this important topic.
